Angel Food Toffee Cake
2 cups of whipping cream
1/2 cup caramel or butterscotch ice cream topping
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 prepared angel food cake
9 Heath Candy Bars ( crushed )
In a mixing bowl, beat the whipping cream, just until it begins to thicken.
Gradually stir in the topping and vanilla. Beat until soft peaks appear.
Cut cake horizontally into three layers.
Place the bottom layer on a serving platter.
Spread with 1 cup of cream mixture and sprinkle with 1/2 cup crushed candy.
Repeat.
Place top layer on the cake; frost the top and sides with remaining cream
mixture and sprinkle with candy bar pieces.
Store in the refrigerator. |
