Egg Yolk Sponge Cake In a large mixing bowl, combine egg yolks, sugar, and water; beat until light and foamy. Gently fold in flour. Pour into prepared cake pan; smooth top. Bake for 25 minutes or until center of cake springs back when lightly touched. Cool in cake pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan; cool completely on a wire rack. Fill and frost and desired. |
