BBQ Meatballs

2 eggs
1 envelope onion soup mix (such as Lipton's)
1/2 cup seasoned or unseasoned breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 1/2 pounds ground beef

1 can (16 oz.) whole-berry cranberry sauce
3/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup beef broth (canned is fine)
3 tablespoons finely chopped onion
2 tsp. cider vinegar

In a bowl, combine eggs, soup mix, breadcrumbs and parsley. Mix in the beef and shape into 1- inch balls. Brown in oil until no longer pink in center. Drain.

In 2-qt. microwave-safe dish, combine the sauce ingredients. Cover and microwave on high for about 3 minutes, or until heated through, rotating once. Carefully stir in meatballs. Cover and cook on high another 2-3 minutes or until thoroughly hot.

Makes about 3 dozen.
