Crockpot Meatballs

2 pounds lean ground beef
1/4 cup water
1 small onion, grated
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup of cracker crumbs or bread crumbs
1 teaspoon of salt
1 can (1 pound) jellied cranberry sauce
1 bottle ( 12 ounces) chili sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Combine the meat with the water, onion, eggs crumbs & salt, and shape the mixture into bite-size meatballs.

In a large saucepan combine the cranberry sauce, chili sauce, brown sugar & lemon juice. Heat and stir until smooth.

Add the uncooked meatballs to the sauce. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. Skim off the fat and serve the meat balls in a fondue pot with fancy tooth picks.

Serves about 8
