Basil Pork Chops
4 boneless pork leg or shoulder butt steaks
2/3 cup balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup minced fresh basil
1/4 cup honey
3 tbl lemon juice
1 minced clove garlic
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp crumbled dried rosemary
1/2 tsp mint sauce
1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
Place pork in a plastic bag or sealable container. Combine remaining
ingredients and pour over pork. Seal and marinate 15 minutes or
refrigerate as long as overnight, turning steaks occasionally.
Preheat the barbecue to high temperature and place pork on the
grill. Turn heat down to a low setting and barbecue or broil on a
greased broiler pan 4 to 5 minutes per side to medium doneness
basting frequently with marinade. |
