Spanish Rice
2 Tbsp. salad oil
1 1/3 c. rice
2 Tbsp. minced onion
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp salt
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 beef bouillon cube
1 cup hot water
1 tsp. soy sauce
Heat salad oil in a skillet until hot (not smoking), add rice and beef until
golden brown. Add salt and rest of ingredients, simmer, covered until rice is
tender.
Serves 4-6 |
