1/2 lb ground beef (browned and drained)
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 Tbsp. water
2 pkg. refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 medium bell pepper
1/2 head lettuce
1 medium tomato
1 small onion
1/2 cup black olives
1 cup salsa
Preheat oven to 375°F. Combine meat with seasoning, cheese and water. Arrange
crescent triangles in a circle on a 13" round baking stone, with bases
overlapping in center and points to outside (there should be a 5-inch diameter
circle in the center).
Spoon meat mix into rolls. Fold points of triangles over the
filling and tuck under base at center. Filling will NOT be completely covered.
Bake 20-25 minutes.
Using the v-shaped cutter, cut the top off the bell pepper.
Shred lettuce and cube tomato. Slice olives. Place pepper in center of ring.
Mound lettuce, tomato, onion and olives around the pepper. Fill pepper with
salsa. Garnish with sour cream.
