Pork Sausage Ring
Fill the center with scrambled eggs for a festive breakfast or brunch.
1 1/2 cups fine cracker crumbs
1 cup (1 medium) chopped apple
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup milk
1 pound bulk pork sausage
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
In large bowl combine all ingredients; mix until well blended.
Press into greased 6-cup ring mold. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
Heat oven to 350°. Unmold sausage mixture onto greased 15x10-inch baking pan.
Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until sausage is no longer pink in center.
TIP: Sausage mixture can be shaped into loaf and baked. Place in pan with sides
so grease does not drip into oven.
