Sausage and Potato Breakfast Torta

A breakfast favorite at our home, it's easy to prepare and is scrumptious. We
usually accompany this Torta with Spicy Cheese Grits or Fried Green Tomatoes.
10 Eggs Beaten
1/2 t Dry Mustard
1 Tube Crescent Rolls
2 1/2 Cups Grated Cheddar Cheese
1/2 Cup Milk
1/2 t Black Pepper
1 1/2 # Hash Brown Potatoes
1 1/2 # Hot Italian Sausage
1/2 Cup Each Chopped - Green Onions, Green Pepper and Red Pepper
2T Vegetable Oil
Fry sausage until browned, drain well and set aside. Fry potatoes in oil, add
onions and peppers - fry until tender. Combine beaten eggs, milk and spices -
whisk well and set aside. Grease 9x13 inch Casserole Dish. Line bottom of dish
with crescent roll, next layer meat, potatoes and cheese. Pour egg mixture over
top of casserole. Sprinkle with paprika.
Bake in pre-heated oven at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
(I usually make it the night before and place it into the refrigerator.)
