Brownies with Broiled Coconut Frosting

For Brownies:
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, cut into pieces
2 tbsp. water
4 bars (8-oz. box) Nestle� Toll House� Semisweet Chocolate Baking Bars, broken into pieces
2 large eggs
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

For Coconut Frosting:
2 cups flaked coconut
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/4 cup Nestle� Carnation� Evaporated Milk

FOR BROWNIES:
Preheat oven to 350� F.
Grease 13x9-in. baking pan.

Heat, stirring constantly, sugar, butter and water in large, heavy-duty saucepan just to boiling. Remove from heat. Add baking bars; stir until melted. Stir in eggs one at a time. Add flour, vanilla extract, baking soda and salt; stir well. Spread into prepared baking pan.

Bake for 16 to 20 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out slightly sticky. Cool in pan for 20 minutes.

FOR COCONUT FROSTING:
Combine coconut, brown sugar, butter and evaporated milk in medium bowl. Spread over cooled brownies. Broil 4 inches from heat for 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown.
