Double Chocolate Brownies

3/4 Cup unsifted flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 Cup oleo
3/4 Cup sugar
1/2 Cup chopped nuts
2 Tablespoons water
1 12 oz package chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

In a small bowl combine dry ingredients and set aside. In a small sauce pan combine oleo, sugar and water, bring just to a boil. Remove from heat, Add 1 Cup chocolate chips and vanilla. Stir until chips melt and mixture is smooth. Transfer to a large bowl.

Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually blend in flour mixture. Stir in remaining 1 cup of chocolate chips and nuts. Spread into a greased 9" square pan. Bake for 35 minutes. Cool completely.

Cut into 2 1/4" squares.
