Peanut Butter Chocolate Swirl Brownies
In a large mixer bowl, beat Crisco and peanut butter. Add sugar and brown sugar, beat well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in vanilla.
Add flour, baking powder and salt to the peanut butter mixture, blending well. Spread the batter into the pan. Spoon syrup over top. Swirl with a knife for marbled effect.
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into squares.
