Big Red Cake

1 white cake mix
1 can Big Red soda
1 large pkg. strawberry gelatin
1 16 oz. pkg frozen strawberries

Frosting~
1 8 oz. Cool Whip
1 cup milk
1 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding

Method~
Bake the cake as directed on the box.
While cake is still warm, poke holes with the end of a wooden spoon.

In saucepan, bring to a boil;
Big Red Soda, gelatin and strawberries
Pour over cake

Let cool.
Top cake with frosting.
Keep cake refrigerated.

I make this cake on televised Husker football game days and have friends over to watch the game...can't wait...Husker fever is just about here!!! (you could use a strawberry pop if you can't get the BIG RED)
