Blueberry Pancakes
The Dry Mix:
2/3 cup unbleached white flour
1/3 cup whole-wheat flour
1 T. sugar
2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. sea salt
dash of fresh-grated nutmeg
In Camp Add:
1 cup milk
1 Tbsp. oil
1 egg
1/2 cup blueberries
Fry over the campfire on a medium-hot, oiled griddle, turning
once when the top has formed bubbles and the pancake surface has
gone from shiny to dry. |
