Butter Tarts

pastry dough or tart shells put into tart tins
1/4 C. butter
1/2 C. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
1/2 t. lemon juice
1 C. maple syrup or 1/2 C. maple syrup & a 1/2 C. corn syrup
1/2 C. walnuts
1/2 C. raisins

Cream sugar and butter together. Beat in eggs, vanilla, lemon juice and a pinch of nut meg. Blend in syrup and add walnuts and raisins. Place filling in tart shells and bake at 375�F for 20 minutes.
