Italian Casserole
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground meat
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped bell pepper
1 (8-oz.) can tomato sauce
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
1 cup grated Cheddar or mozzarella cheese
2 tbsp. melted butter 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 cup sour cream
1 pkg. crescent rolls
Cook ground meat until brown. Add onion and bell pepper, cook until tender, add
tomato sauce, pepper, garlic salt and Italian seasoning. Mix well and pour into
2 quart casserole. Spread sour cream over the meat and sprinkle the grated
cheese on the sour cream.
Separate the rolls into 4 rectangles and place over the cheese. Brush with
melted butter and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake 20-25 minutes at 375�F. Cut into squares. Let sit a few minutes before
serving.
Note: This can be made ahead of time and kept in refrigerator until time to
bake.
