Dumpling Sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons Chinese cooking wine
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon chopped garlic
1/2 teaspoon sambal hot pepper sauce
2 stalks green onions, minced
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
sugar to taste
Prepare a marinade of soy sauce, Chinese cooking wine, canola oil, sesame seed
oil, salt, chopped garlic, sambal hot pepper sauce and green onions (reserving 2
Tbsp for the dipping sauce.) Prepare dipping sauce by combining balsamic vinegar
with an equal portion of reserved marinade, and garnish with green onion finely
chopped. You can add sugar or other seasonings to taste. This can be prepared in
batches and stored in the refrigerator. Just add fresh green onions each time. |
