1 German chocolate cake mix
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup coconut
1 stick butter
1 lb. powdered sugar
8-ozs. cream cheese
Grease and flour a 9x13 pan, and sprinkle the coconut and pecans in the bottom
of the pan. Prepare cake mix as directed on box and pour over the nuts and
Soften cream cheese and butter; add the powdered sugar and
Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture into the batter,
but do not stir.
Bake at 350ºF. for about 1 hour or 'til done.
This is kinda like a german chocolate upside down cake with the added bonus of
cream cheese. No icing needed, and real quick and tasty!
