Light Sweet Potato Biscuits

1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
4 teaspoons of baking powder
3/4 teaspoon of salt
2 1/4 Tablespoons of sugar
1/2 cup of shortening
1/4 cup of milk
1 1/4 cup of mashed cooked sweet potatoes

Sift flour, salt,sugar,baking powder together, cut in shortening, combine milk, mashed sweet potatoes toll or pat in a ball to 1/2 in thick and bake. bake at 425 for 15min.
 

SERVE WARM AND TOP IT WITH HONEY OR MALASSES...its so delicious, if u never liked sweet potatoes..You will surely eat them now! Our family love to serve malasses over warm sweet potatoes, its almost like a dessert.
