1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup ground almonds
Cinnamon, to taste
Lemon extract, to taste
Vanilla extract, to taste
2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup marmalade, hot
1 cup powdered sugar
Combine butter, sugar and egg and beat with mixer until creamy. Add almonds and flavors. Then add flour and knead for 2 to 3 minutes.
Let dough rest for 1 hour.
Place dough on clean table and roll out to desired thickness. Cut out shapes using Christmas cutters.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes, or until golden and no longer soft to the touch.
Brush hot marmalade on cookies while still warm, then dust with powdered sugar when cold.
