5 cups nuts of your choice
Add the cumin & cayenne & stir until the mixture is aromatic, about 15 seconds. Pour the flavored oil over the nuts. Add the sugar & salt & stir to coat evenly.
Transfer the nuts to a large baking pan. Bake, stirring occasionally until the nuts are toasted, about 20 minutes.
Store in an airtight container up to 2 weeks. Reheat in a 300° oven for about 5 minutes.
