2 cups sugar
2 cups buttermilk
1/4 pound butter
1/3 cup corn syrup
1 teaspoon baking soda
Dash of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
Nuts, to taste
Put sugar, buttermilk, butter, corn syrup, baking soda and salt in a
large pot and boil to firm ball sage. Remove from heat and add
vanilla and nuts. Stir until thick and pour out onto a sheet of
buttered foil. Cut into pieces when slightly cooled.
