Chocolate, Chocolate Chip Cookies
I've had this recipe for so many years, I have no idea where it came from.
It's been a family favorite though so thought I'd share it.
1 3/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 cup butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/3 cup cocoa
2 Tbs. milk (I use a little more)
1 cup chocolate chips (I use a lot more)
1 cup chopped nuts
Mix flour and soda. Set aside. Mix the butter with vanilla and sugars. Mix well,
then add the egg with mixer on low speed. Beat in cocoa. With a wooden spoon mix
in milk.
Now add flour and baking soda mixture. Stir in chocolate
chips and nuts. Drop by spoon onto greased baking sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 13 minutes.
Notes: I sometimes use macadamia nuts and white chocolate chips. You can use any
combination you like.
Enjoy!
