Chocolate Nut Cookies with Bisquick

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
2 tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
2-oz. melted unsweetened chocolate, cool
2 cups Bisquick Baking Mix
1 cup chopped nuts
quick chocolate frosting below

Heat oven to 350º F.

Mix sugar, shortening, eggs, water, vanilla and chocolate. Stir in baking mix and nuts.

Drop by rounded teaspoonsfull onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake until set, about 15 minutes. Cool; frost with the frosting. Place walnut half on each.

Makes about 4 dozen cookies.

QUICK CHOCOLATE FROSTING
Mix 1 cup powdered sugar, 1/4 cup cocoa and 2-3 tbsp. water until smooth and of spreading consistency.
