Cracked Sugar Cookies 

1 c Margarine, softened

1 c Brown Sugar

1 c Sugar

2 Eggs

1 ts Vanilla

2 ts Cream Of Tartar

2 ts Baking Soda

1/2 ts Salt

3 c Flour

Granulated Sugar

Cream together margarine and sugars. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in cream of tartar, baking soda, salt, and flour; mix well. Shape into walnut size balls, roll in granulated sugar, and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375F degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.

Yield: 48 Cookies
