Italian Almond Paste Cookies 1 LB.
almond paste
2 cups and 2 Tbsp sugar
5 egg whites
14 Tbsp. bread crumbs
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
Mix almond paste, sugar and bread crumbs together.
Add egg whites and vanilla extract
Roll into balls. Flatten with hand. Place on a nonstick cookie sheet.
Bake at 375� for 15 minutes, but check after 10 minutes. The cookies should be
pale in color. Do not remove until cool. |
