No-Bake Peanut Butter Drops
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup margarine -- or butter
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups rolled oats -- not instant
2/3 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup black walnuts -- chopped
1/2 cup dried coconut
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
In a saucepan, combine the sugar, margarine, flour and milk. Bring to a full
boil and boil hard for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add
remaining ingredients all at once. Blend well.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto foil or greased cookie sheets. Cool
completely before serving or storing.
