Grandma's Favorite Sugar Cookies

3 1/4 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
2/3 cup of Crisco butter flavor
3 eggs
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2-3 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

cream crisco, sugar, milk and vanilla at med. speed with a mixer (till well blended) Beat in eggs. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix into cream mixture. Roll all the ingredients into one big ball, then separate into 4 smaller balls.

Wrap in wax paper, each one, and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours or overnite. Flour roller pin and working surface. Use your favorite cookie cut outs, place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

Sprinkle with your favorite color sugars or ice them after they cool. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, cook 8-10 mins. based on the thickness. (or till slightly browned)
