Veal Steaks with Tomato Sauce
1 tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 veal steaks
4-ozs. of tomato juice
1/4 cup water
1/8 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1/8 tsp. oregano
In a medium skillet, saut� the onions in melted butter or margarine and then
remove them from the pan.
Add the veal to the pan and brown on both sides.
Add the onion, tomato juice, water, oregano, salt and pepper. Simmer for approx.
1 hour or until tender. |
