Rosita Gaon learned this recipe from her mother 70 years ago.
4 apples, peeled, finely chopped
1/4 cup raisins
2 teaspoons granulated sugar
2 to 3 tablespoons sweet red wine
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
Cinnamon to taste
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Cover and refrigerate. Can
be prepared several hours ahead of time.
Makes 8 servings.
