Little Knishes - meat Combine mashed potatoes with eggs; the 2 TBSP of fat, salt, pepper and matzo meal. Form into walnut-sized balls. Make a depression in the center of each and fill with liver mixture. Brush with diluted egg yolk. Place on a well-greased baking sheet and bake in a hot oven (400 deg) 20 minutes or until well browned. Makes approx. 3 1/2 doz. |
