Vegetable Beef Soup

1 pound stew meat
1 can (15 ounces) crushed tomatoes
3 cups water
2 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 carrots, peeled and sliced
2 celery ribs, sliced
3 beef bouillon cubes
1 large onion, diced
1 tsp. dried parsley
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1-1/2 cups frozen mixed vegetables

In a crockpot, combine the first 13 ingredients. Cover and cook on high for 5 hours. Add vegetables; cover and cook on high 2 hours longer, or until the meat and vegetables are tender.

Yield: 8 to 10 servings
