Wisconsin Herb Blend Dip

Create a lower-calorie, lower-fat dip by using reduced-fat cream cheese (Neufchatel), light sour cream, and light mayonnaise dressing.

Prep: 10 min.

1 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup dairy sour cream
1/4 cup milk
2 Tbsp. mayonnaise or salad dressing
2 tsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. Wisconsin Herb Blend (see recipe above)
Vegetable dippers, thick pretzel sticks, and/or breadsticks

In a medium mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sour cream, milk, mayonnaise or salad dressing, and lemon juice with an electric mixer on low to medium speed until combined. Stir in Wisconsin Herb Blend. Cover and chill in refrigerator for at least 4 hours or up to 24 hours. Serve with assorted dippers. Makes about 2 cups.

Wisconsin Herb Blend
4 tsp. dried minced onion
2 tsp. dried basil, crushed
2 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
2 tsp. dried lemon balm or dried thyme, crushed
2 tsp. dried parsley, crushed
2 tsp. dried minced garlic
1 tsp. dried tarragon, crushed
1 tsp. dried rosemary, crushed
Combine all ingredients in an airtight container. Cover and store at room temperature. Makes about 1/4 cup.
