Cookie Cutter Bunnies
Bake your favorite cake mix in a 11-by-14-inch jelly roll pan that
has been lined with wax paper or parchment. Cool in the pan, then
cut shapes with a cookie cutter.
Place the cakes on a cooling rack set over the jelly roll pan and
pour over a thin icing tinted to a spring color.
Make eyes, nose, mouth out of jelly beans and licorice.
Sift 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar into a small bowl. Add 2
tablespoons warm milk and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla. Mix to combine; add
food coloring if desired.
Mix 1-1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
1/4 cup lemon, orange or lime juice
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix until smooth.
To tint coconut
Place coconut in a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Add a few drops of
green food coloring, cover and shake. Add more color until the
desired tint is reached.
