Sencha's Chocolate Macadamia Bread Pudding

2 C. heavy cream
1 t. vanilla extract
9 eggs
1 C. brown sugar
18 oz. cubed stale bread
2 C. large chocolate chunks
1 C. toasted macadamia nuts

Combine cream, vanilla, eggs and sugar; mix very well. Place bread in large bowl, pour liquid over bread, and let stand 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350F. Once liquid has soaked into bread, stir in chocolate and nuts and place in greased baking dish. Bake until golden brown, about 30-40 minutes. May be undercooked a bit to maintain moistness in the middle. Cut into squares. If desired, top with ice cream, whipped cream or a little heavy cream mixed with a preferred liqueur.
