Veal Chops Parmesan

1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp paprika
dash pepper
5 3/4" veal chops
1 egg, beaten
2 Tbsp oil
5 thin slices Mozzarella cheese
1 (8 oz) can seasoned tomato sauce
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tsp crushed oregano

Mix crumbs, parmesan cheese, salt & pepper.

Dip chops in egg and then in crumbs.

Brown on both sides in hot oil. Place a slice of cheese on top of each chop.

Mix tomato sauce and garlic and pour over chops. Sprinkle with oregano.

Simmer covered for 50 minutes til meat is done. Add a tablespoon or 2 of water if needed.
