Broccoli Salad with Bacon

1 head of broccoli
1/2 onion - purple or Vidalia
1 lb of bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup shredded cheese - I use marble

Dressing
3/4 cup Miracle Whip
1/4 cup white sugar
4 tblsp. vinegar

Mix dressing and pour over salad.
