Butterscotch Sauce
1 C. light brown sugar
3/4 C. heavy cream
2 T. unsalted butter
1 t. vanilla
Combine the sugar, cream and butter in saucepan. Place over medium
heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and
simmer, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat; stir in the vanilla.
Serve warm.
Yields about 2 cups. |
