Four Kinds Bean Bake
8 slices bacon -- fried crisp
2 large onions -- chopped
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 can kidney beans
1 can green lima beans
1 can large dried lima grands
2 cans pork and beans
Saute onions in bacon drippings or oil until clear. Add next 5
ingredients and simmer a few minutes. Drain and rinse all beans except
pork and beans and mix with sauce. Add crumbled bacon.
Bake about 1 hour at 350�. |
