Cheese Filled Teriyaki Steaks Recipe

 

Cheese Filled Teriyaki Steaks

4 beef cube steaks
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons sherry
1 tablespoon oil
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 package (4 ounces) grated Mozzarella cheese

Pound each steak to 1/8 inch thickness. Blend next 6 ingredients; add steaks, turning to coat. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours, turning occasionally. Remove steaks; reserve marinade.

Arrange cheese on 2 steaks, top with remaining steaks. Skewer with wooden picks.

Cook on MEDIUM gas grill 10 minutes or until desired degree of doneness turning once. Boil reserved marinade and baste meat as it grills.
