Butter Caramels

2 cups sugar
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup butter (not margarine)

Cook ingredients to just pass the soft ball stage, stirring constantly.

Pour 1/4" thick into buttered pans. Refrigerate several hours.

Cut into squares and wrap in waxed paper.
