White Texas Sheet Cake
1 cup butter
1 cup water
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup butter

In a large saucepan, bring 1 cup butter or margarine and water to a
boil. Remove from heat, and stir in flour, sugar, eggs, sour cream,

into a greased 10 x 15 x 1 inch baking pan.
Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 20 to
22 minutes, or until cake is golden brown and tests done. Cool for
