Clam Dip Recipe
1 8-oz. package cream cheese, softened
1 C. mayonnaise
2 T. onion, finely minced
3 cloves garlic, finely minced
Salt and pepper, to taste
Few drops Tabasco sauce
1 can minced clams, drained, juice reserved
Mix softened cream cheese and mayonnaise together until very smooth. Add the
onion, garlic, salt, pepper and Tabasco sauce. Add enough of the clam juice to
reach a consistency you like. Stir in the clams. Chill at least two hours, but
it is better made one day ahead.
Makes 2 1/2 cups
