Pork Chops and Potatoes
6 pork chops, 3/4 inch thick
salt and pepper
1 tablespoon cooking oil
3 tablespoons margarine
4 cups seasoned croutons
3/4 cup water, divided
3 medium potatoes, quartered
1 can mushroom soup
Brown pork chops in a Dutch oven in oil; add salt and pepper.
Melt margarine, then mix croutons with margarine and add 1/4
Shape crouton mixture into small balls and place them on top
of the pork chops.
Place potato quarters around chops, pour soup on top of the
entire dish, add 1/2 cups water and cook 6 to 8 hours on low in the crockpot.
