Ozark Pudding

1/3 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup sugar
1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 medium apple finely chopped
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Heat oven to 350F.

Beat sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, egg and vanilla in small bowl on medium speed until smooth (about 1 min.).

Stir in apples and nuts. Pour into greased 9-in. pie plate.

Bake until golden brown (about 30 minutes)

Best served warm.
