Classic Creamy Coleslaw
3 lg. heads cabbage*, shredded
3 lg. carrots**, shredded
2 cups mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 cup sugar
� cup vinegar
2 tbsp. celery seed
1 tbsp. salt
2 tsp. garlic powder
In several large bowls, combine the cabbage and carrots. In another
large bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Stir into cabbage
mixture. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Toss just before
serving.
Makes 30 servings of about � cup each.
