Tamale Corn

2 cans chopped, mild green chilies

3/4 cup yellow cornmeal

2 cans drained whole corn

3/4 tsp. garlic salt

1/2 tsp. baking powder

6 tbsp. corn oil

1/2 lb. grated sharp cheddar

2 eggs, well beaten

Add all ingredients to eggs. Place in 1-1/2 quart casserole.

Bake 1 hour at 350 F.

Makes 12 servings as a side dish
