Apple Bread

4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp vanilla
3-1/2 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
2 medium tart green apples
1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped walnuts

Beat egg, sugar, buttermilk, mayo & vanilla.

Mix dry ingredients and add to egg mixture until just combined.

Chop apples; add to batter with raisins and nuts.

Put into 2 greased & floured 5 x 9" loaf pans.

Bake 375° about 1 hour 10 minutes or until pick comes out clean.
