Cape Cod Cranberry Bread rind and
juice of one orange Mix together 2 cups flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Set aside. Cream 2 Tbs. melted shortening, 1 cup sugar and beaten egg. To this mixture add the dry and liquid ingredients, alternating. Stir in 1 cup cranberries and nuts. Pour into loaf pan. Bake at 350� for 1 hour. Store for 24 hours before eating. |
