Spiced Applesauce Banana Bread
cup all purpose flour
Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl, combine the flours, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, allspice, ginger and salt.
In a med. bowl, combine the egg, bananas, applesauce, oil and milk. Add the banana mixture slowly to the flour mixture and mix until just combined. Do not overbeat.
Spray a 9x5x3" loaf pan with nonstick spray. Dust the pan lightly with flour. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Bake the banana bread for 45 - 50 mins until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let the bread cool in the pan for 15 mins. Then turn the loaf out onto a rack and cool completely.
